Microgrids offer improved energy resilience and operational flexibility critical to enabling mission execution at our military installations. Over the last several years, ESTCP has demonstrated several innovative technologies designed to improve energy security, increase back-up power reliability and support critical loads during extended electrical grid outages. This session presented an overview of ongoing demonstrations of advanced microgrid controllers, microgrid design and energy storage solutions.
